Krups 026-33 Gold Tone Coffee Filter

The mesh in this Gold Tone filter, made of stainless steel, will stand up to years of wear, which is why they call it "permanent." This was almost exactly what I was looking for. I say almost, because it is not truly gold-plated (not nearly as expensive as you'd think.) Real gold is much easier to clean, and to keep clean; and it is chemically inert, so it can't react with other substances. Otherwise, the Krups basket works very well. Remember that the key reason for using one of these is to not have to use paper filters. That makes this a very "green" item. I recommend it.

Be sure you match up the sizing of your coffee maker before buying this filter. There are many different sizes. For this filter it states directly on the box : Fits Krups coffee Makers Model Numbers: 252, 466, 467, 458, and 144.. Check out the Krups website just to be sure you have the correct size before placing your order with Amazon.. Filter came as stated.. I just didn't do my research before placeing the order.. re-ordering the correct size..
